It looks like accord plug-in has hot weather problems too.

Mine gives out a brief warning that power reduced due to high temperature and loses all the power and stops in the middle of the road. When the thermostat exceeds 95 degrees, this is reproducible.

Dealer was able to reproduce but has not found the fix yet.

I wonder whether any one else is experiencing similar issues.

Never had that one happen...had a few 110+ weeks last year as well...
Let us know what Honda ends up doing....wondering if maybe a bad battery or electrical short causing excess heat?

Have not seen this, been up around 95 here a couple times this spring.

How do you measure the temperature? Is it the dash temp display? What color is your car? I wonder if there could be a problem with the fans in the rear battery compartment, but just guessing there. When you plug in to charge, do you notice the fan/fans running near the rear seat after a minute or so?

And something else to check... There is a small radiator near the front drivers side tire. The air flow comes in the left fog light assembly and flows across it and in to your wheel well. Check to make sure there isn't anything blocking that.
