Cold weather operation

The last few days in the northeast have been very cold. Around 0. Had check engine light come on and plug in charger problem. Cleared next charge. Also gas motor is always running. Won't run in ev mode. Wonder if extream cold has something to do with this. No lights or drive ability issues just no ev mode. Any thoughts.

If they are using the same batteries as in the Fit EV, those vehicles report greatly reduced cold weather range/regen, if any range at all.

Was a poor connection to the battery module. Had 3 low voltage codes.
Looks like the car is operating better than when I got it. Honda tech line comes through with a fix. Saw one other car with same problem.
