Thanks Paperjo…. I check in from time to time. AWD & actual MPG…. it's been impressive. Driving a hybrid has really taught me how to maximize fuel economy in any car.

I have owned the 328d for 6 months and put on approx 8,000 miles. I have averaged 45 mpg as measured in actual tank to tank fill ups. I get about 52-54 MPG on the highway vs about 46-49 on the Accord. City driving, no contest, Accord all the way. Things I miss about the Accord? Quiet in EV...

Thank Papajo. Decided tp take a break from the hybrid world for a bit and bought a 2015 BMW 328d (diesel). I really like the 2017 Accord Hybrid, but they were expensive as a used car. Thinking I'd like to get a Clarity in a few years when they come off lease and are more depreciated. :D

I wanted to thank everyone that helped me during my last 30 months of ownership. I was in an accident last week and the air bags deployed. Thankfully my daughter and I walked away unhurt. Car has been consider a total loss. I spent $2,200 in gas and drove 54,000 miles. Average MPG 59.2.

Depends upon the temperature.... warmer more miles (up to 17.4 on the computer ) and maybe 13-15 in the colder months.

I bought mine used last year, and I was concerned too. Ultimately, if the car goes 120k miles without issue, I win. If the price of gas goes to $4.00, I win. Not having to be in a Prius, I win. My car was a certified pre-owned, but my local dealers never saw one of these cars and have no ideas...

Yes, that is exactly how I would use it. Having the car switch into EV isn't really great on the highway where the HV mode would be a better choice. There is another issue in the cold weather...there is no heat in EV mode. What irks me the most is that it just shouldn't be doing it and it is...

I have been driving my 2014 Accord PHEV for about 5 months. I have noticed an issue when the HV mode is selected and it randomly turns off. The only way to get back into HV mode is to turn the car off and restart. This is happening now 1-2 times a day and is really annoying when on the highway...
